Dr. Audrey Philip
DVM, Owner
Dr. Audrey is a proud 2011 graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in the Upstate for over 10 years. She loves serving her community by practicing high quality veterinary medicine. Her passions include surgery, internal medicine, ultrasound and emergency services. She loves having fun at work and enjoying long term relationships with her clients and their pets. Outside of work, she and her partner Joey enjoy spending time with their son, Lucas. They love hiking, local breweries and spending time with family.
Dr. Margaret E. Roberts
DVM, Founder
The founding veterinarian of the original Milestone Veterinary Associates, Dr. Maggie has a servant’s heart, and has dedicated her life to the exceptional and compassionate care of animals and the people who love them. She graduated from the prestigious University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, and realized her dream of owning her own practice when she opened Milestone in 1996. Dr. Maggie is active in her church and challenges herself daily to be an example of God’s love. She enjoys the company of friends and the quiet beauty of nature.
Heather Gaines
Practice Manager
Heather has successfully managed Milestone for nearly 20 years! She works closely with our doctors and management team to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. She was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She and her husband, Kevin, were married in April 2009 and are avid Gamecock fans. Together they have one daughter named Reagan, a German Shepard named Hank and a handsome feline named Bradley. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends (and of course her four-legged children!)
Dena Klein
Lead Technician
Dena has been with Milestone for over 20 years! She started as an assistant and worked her way up to her current position as Lead Technician. Her love and care for the patients she treats ensures they have happier, longer lives. Dena's passion is veterinary dentistry, in which she excels! She believes that through education and treating teeth, pets can live healthier lives without oral pain. She and her husband Shane have been married since 2008. Together they have one daughter, Inara, two cats and two horses. She enjoys spending time with her family and riding horses.
Serena Tapia
Lead Reception
Serena has been with Milestone Veterinary Hospital since May 2023 and has been in the industry for almost 15 years. The friendly welcome you receive when entering Milestone starts with her! She moved to South Carolina in 2019 with her husband, Dan, and son, Hunter. Serena's pet family currently includes her dog, Adalyn, and four cats: Sam, Max, Gypsy and Foxy! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cooking and traveling.

Melissa Figueroa
Receptionist
Melissa has been a part of Milestone Veterinary Hospital since 2021. She has been in the veterinary industry for over 10 years. Melissa relocated from Ohio with her cute chihuahuas Ivy and Mavi in search of warmer weather and to be closer to her family. In her downtime, Melissa enjoys being in nature and gardening. Melissa uses her green thumb to tend to all of the beautiful plants we have at the clinic as well!
Sarah Watkins
Receptionist
Sarah recently started with Milestone in 2023. Originally a Georgia girl, she is happy to call South Carolina home! She has two boys, Caden and Noah, who she enjoys spending time with and watching them play sports. She also has two poodle babies, Harley and Hadley. She definitely has a soft spot for poodles!

Technician
Aubrey has been with the Milestone Team since 2016. She helps out tremendously behind the scenes as well! She has always carried a love for animals and loves serving this community. Aubrey is happily married with two kiddos, a precious dog and cat.
Brittany
Technician
Brittany has been with Milestone since 2012 and loves helping our clients. She always goes the extra mile. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends. Brittany is happily married with a baby girl and two cats.
Rachel
LVT
Rachel is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians (this requires extra school and training). She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 10 years and became licensed in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys reading and craft projects. Her favorite thing about working at Milestone is making connections with pets and their families.
Manda
LVT
Manda is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians (this requires extra school and training). She has worked in the veterinary field since graduating Tri-County Tech with her LVT in 2008. She loves working in surgery and is very passionate about practicing and making veterinary medicine a fear free environment. Although she loves all animals, cats hold a special place in her heart and she has 7 of them at home!
Victoria
Tech Assistant
Victoria is one of our awesome Tech Assistants and has been with Milestone for 3 years. She has always had a heart for helping animals and loves that she gets to do that daily. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is meeting our patients as puppies and kittens and watching them grow over time. Victoria has three dogs and one cat at home that keep her busy!
Raquel
Tech Assistant
Raquel is one of our talented Tech Assistants and has been with Milestone for 4 years. Her favorite part of her job is knowing that she helps patients feel better. She also loves assisting with surgeries and recovering those patients as well!
Jo
Tech Assistant
Jo has been in the veterinary industry since 2022. She loves being a voice for your pets and getting to participate in surgeries to benefit their lives. She has two wild and crazy Tortoiseshell cats and a sweet beagle mix.
