I’m worried about my pet’s upcoming surgical procedure. What do you do to help ensure your patients’ safety during surgery?

Our veterinary team takes every precaution so that your pet receives the highest-quality care. We perform a physical exam and preanesthetic testing before surgery and monitor your pet during surgery. During the procedure, a veterinary technician will continually assess your pet’s heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, and other vital signs to help prevent any anesthesia related complications. We also provide close monitoring and appropriate pain medication to keep your pet comfortable during recovery.

We will send pain medications home for 1-5 days depending on the scope of the procedure.

We take all risks related to anesthesia and surgery very seriously. Our doctors want to discuss your concerns as well and have a chance to answer your questions before your pet is admitted to our hospital. Please let the receptionist know if you have  concerns and we will arrange a time to discuss these with your pet’s doctor.
